Description

It is a poly-electrolytic solution, intended for specific medical purposes, consisting of mineral salts, carbohydrates (glucose and destrinomaltose), oligosaccharides and zinc, to replace water and electrolyte losses in situations of mild and moderate dehydration.É an aid in correcting losses of water and mineral salts due to diarrhea and/or vomiting, in infants, children and adults. – New formula – Better taste / better acceptability – New presentation – Ready to consume (drink)

How to Use

If there is no prescription to the contrary, administer Electrolit® as follows:
- If weight loss is less than 5%: 50 ml per kg of weight in the first 6 hours.
- If weight loss is 5% to 10%: 100 ml per kg of weight in the first 6 hours
- When vomiting associated with diarrhea occurs, the prescribed dose of Electrolit should be given in small amounts, avoiding the intake of other liquids containing carbohydrates.
- During the first day of treatment younger children or school-age children should take 4 bottles or 250 ml glasses of Electrolit.
- Adults should take Electrolit in the amount needed during the first day of treatment (14% solution)
