Carotene BioActive contains 9 mg beta carotene per capsule (equivalent to 4 large carrots). In the body, beta carotene is converted to vitamin A (retinol), a nutrient that contributes to the maintenance of normal skin and vision. WARNING Do not take if you are allergic to any of the ingredients of the supplement. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Dietary supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet.
Attention: Large smokers (+ 20 cigarettes per day) should avoid using supplements containing only beta-carotene, as there is an indication that it can potentiate the harmful effects of tobacco at the lung level.
