Non-adherent polyethylene primary dressing, impregnated with L-Mesitran Soft, indicated for the care of different types of wounds.
Helps create a moist environment conducive to healing, without adhering to the wound bed. L-Mesitran Tulle is a non-adherent polyethylene dressing impregnated with L-Mesitran Soft, which contains 40% clinical-grade honey, clinical-grade hypoallergenic lanolin, propylene glycol, PEG 4000, and vitamins C and E. The polyethylene film has small holes that allow exudate to pass through to a secondary dressing. It should be used as a primary dressing and covered with a suitable secondary dressing. It can be used in the care of acute and chronic wounds, including cuts, abrasions, surgical wounds, pressure ulcers, venous, arterial and diabetic ulcers, oncological wounds, and 1st and 2nd degree burns.
Clean the wound and surrounding skin. Apply L-Mesitran Tulle directly to the wound and cover with a suitable secondary dressing. The dressing can remain in place for a few days, depending on the amount of exudate and the needs of the wound. Replace when the gel is no longer present.
Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to the dressing or any of its components. Do not use alone, without a suitable secondary dressing. Do not use on third-degree burns, narrow and deep cavities or fistulas. In infected wounds, use only under appropriate medical supervision. Do not use on highly exudative wounds without proper assessment. For your safety, we recommend that you always check the product instructions and precautions on the packaging.
