Nestlé Isosource Standard Neutral Flavor 500ml is a complete polymeric formula with an energy density of 1 kcal/ml, indicated for the nutritional management of malnourished patients or those at risk of malnutrition, without metabolic stress and with standard nutritional needs. It can be used as an exclusive or complementary food source, both orally and via enteral feeding tube. Each 500ml pack provides approximately 500 kcal, 19.5g of protein, 67.5g of carbohydrates, 17g of lipids and about 700mg of omega-3 fatty acids. Its balanced composition ensures the supply of essential macronutrients and micronutrients for maintaining nutritional status. The formula contains high biological value proteins from milk, medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), vegetable oils and fish oil, a natural source of omega-3 fatty acids. It is enriched with essential vitamins and minerals, contributing to complete nutritional support in situations of insufficient intake or inability to feed conventionally. It is particularly indicated in cases of severe dysphagia, neuromotor disorders that hinder swallowing, bowel preparation for examinations or surgery, and at the beginning of enteral nutrition.
